Everything about the young wonderkid Alexander Isak
Alexander Isak is born and raised in Solna, Stockholm County, by parents from Eritrea at the 21th September 1999. Solna is a municipality in Stockholm County, located just north of the Stockholm City Centre. At the age of six, Alexander Isak, started playing with the youth team of the local club, AIK and has continued to play for the club his entire career until he was recently sold to Borussia Dortmund for a record fee.
Alexander Isak made his first team debut for AIK in the beginning of 2016 and scored a goal in the Swedish cup tournament. A few months later he got his debut in the Swedish league (Allsvenskan). He scored a goal and became the youngest goalscorer for his club’s Allsvenskan history at the age of 16 years and 199 days. Furthermore he was included at the top 3 over youngest goalscorers in the Swedish league since 2000. At the end of 2016 Alexander Isak was awared the price for Allsvenskan newcomer of the year after a season with 24 appearances and 10 goals. In the beginning of 2017 Alexander Isak got his debut for the Swedish national team but the team ended up with a loss to Ivory Coast. A few months later he got the chance in the starting line up for the national team. He scored and became the youngest goalscorer in the history of Sweden national team. Alexander Isak recently signed with Borussia Dortmund on a long term contract becoming the most expensive player sold in the history of the Swedish league (Allsvenskan). The record was formerly held by the Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic when he moved from Malmo to Ajax in 2001. At that time Alexander Isak was only 2 years old.
Many major clubs in Europe wanted to sign Alexander Isak but he wanted to sign with Borussia Dortmund which are known for giving the young players the chance.
