Adrian Ramos completes Granada move
Granada have completed the loan of Borussia Dortmund striker Adrian Ramos until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old Colombian striker joined Dortmund in 2014 from Hertha Berlin but has never been the main striker for the team. Ramos has mostly been a substitute, scoring 19 goals in 75 appearances.
Adrian Ramos will after the loan-period at Granada join the Chinese club Chongqing Dangdai Lifan FC.
Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel said about Ramos; “Adrian expressed his desire to leave in every transfer period. It’s different being the number two striker at his age than at a younger age.” With a heavy heart, we’ve accepted his wish, but his decision for more playing time is understandable.”
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said; “Adrian Ramos was presented with a lucrative offer from China last year. When he came to us once again during the winter to express his desire to leave the club and move to China, we decided to grant his wish,”
